Jeremy Lawlor

A well-built all-rounder, Jeremy Lloyd Lawlor derived the cricketing gusto from his father Peter Lawlor - who happened to be a product of Glamorgan academy and had also made a lone appearance for the Welsh-based County.

Unlike his father, Jeremy, though, is a work-in-progress asset for his County side who continues to play a key role for the second elevens, primarily batting at four and acting as a first-change bowler for them. Usually a medium pace bowler, Lawlor has good control over his lengths and can be very meagre with his economy rate. He also has a surprise bouncer in his repertoire.

After making his First Class debut for Cardiff MCCU against Glamorgan in 2015, aged 19, Lawlor showed stomach for improvement and worked on his skills at the Glamorgan academy and eventually got his Championship cricket baptism against Kent towards the end of the 2015 season at Cardiff in Glamorgan's final home game.
