Privacy Policy
Last updated 22 Oct 2026This policy explains what information U365FUN BD Cricket (u365bdcricket.com) collects, why, and what you can do about it. You can read the whole site without an account; most of this page only applies if you create one.
Reading the site
You don't need to sign up or give any personal details to read scores, matches, players, teams, records or news. To see which pages are popular, we count visits with our own counter. It stores only daily totals for each page: the page address, the name of the website that sent you there (if any), the language and whether you used a phone or a computer. It sets no cookie and does not store your IP address or anything else that identifies you. We also use Google Analytics (see Other services below).
If you create an account
We store your display name, your email address and a securely hashed password; we never store your actual password. We use your email only for account messages, such as confirming your address and resetting your password. These come from no-reply@u365bdcricket.com.
Sign-in with Google is not offered at the moment. If we add it, we will update this page first to explain what Google shares with us.
What you post and follow
Your comments and replies, the comments you like, the teams, players and series you follow, and your notification settings are stored with your account. Your display name and comments are public. If you report a comment, only our moderators see the report.
Security records
To protect accounts and keep spam out, we record:
- for each sign-in, sign-up or password-reset attempt: the email address typed, your IP address, the time and whether it worked;
- for each signed-in session: your IP address and browser type;
- for each comment: the IP address it was posted from.
Our hosting server also keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser type and pages requested), as almost every website does.
How we use information
Only to run the site and your account: to keep you signed in, show your comments and follows, send account emails, stop break-in attempts, and keep spam and abuse off the site. We do not sell your information. There is no advertising on the site, we don't use advertising cookies, and we don't build profiles of you.
Messages you send us
If you use our contact form, we keep your name, email address, the topic, your message, the language you used and your IP address, so that we can reply and keep spam out. Only our team reads them, in our admin area. Messages are deleted after 12 months.
Cookies and local storage
- crk_sess: keeps you signed in while you browse and protects forms against misuse. It ends when you close your browser.
- crk_rm: set only if you choose "keep me signed in". It lasts 60 days, and we store only a scrambled (hashed) copy of its key.
- lang: remembers whether you chose English or Bengali. It lasts one year.
- _ga and _ga_…: set by Google Analytics to tell visits apart. They last up to two years.
- Local storage: your Fan Zone poll and quiz answers are saved in your own browser. They are not sent to us.
Other services
- Cricbuzz: some pictures, such as player photos and news images, load directly from Cricbuzz's servers. As with any image, those servers see your IP address and browser type.
- YouTube: video thumbnails load from YouTube. If you play a video, YouTube's own privacy policy applies.
- Our hosting provider, GoDaddy, stores the site and its database, keeps server logs and sends our account emails. GoDaddy also adds its own performance-monitoring script to every page (loaded from img1.wsimg.com and reporting to secureserver.net); like any request, it sees your IP address and browser, and GoDaddy's own privacy policy applies to it.
- Cloudflare, which delivers the site to your browser, measures how fast pages load (sent to Cloudflare at /cdn-cgi/rum on our address). It sets no cookies.
- Google Analytics shows us how the site is used, such as which pages are read and how visitors arrive. Your browser sends Google your IP address and browser type, and Google sets the _ga cookies listed above. Google's own privacy policy applies to what it collects.
We don't share your personal information with anyone for marketing.
How long we keep it
Account information is kept while your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, comments, likes, reports, follows and sign-in sessions straight away. The security records of sign-in attempts (email typed, IP address, time) are stored separately and are not removed when you delete your account; they are deleted automatically after 90 days. Our daily database backups are kept for 14 days, and server access logs are kept on our hosting provider's normal schedule.
Your choices
On your Account page you can change your display name and notification settings, and you can delete your account at any time. For anything else, such as a copy of your information or removing a security record, send us a message through our contact form and choose "Privacy or my data".
Keeping it safe
Passwords and sign-in keys are stored only in hashed form. The whole site uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, sign-in cookies are sent only over it, and scripts on the page cannot read them.
Children
Anyone can read the site. To create an account you must be 18 or older, or have the permission of a parent or guardian.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, the "last updated" date at the top of the page changes too.
