George Hankins

Year 2016 was a watershed year for George Hankins. For someone, who has got all the shots in the book, he also knows how to wear the bowlers down. Picked up for an under-19 series against Sri Lanka, Hankins flopped in the Youth Test Series but scored a couple of fifties in the One Day games to top the batting charts for his team.

The same year he made his maiden first-class ton against Northants before debuting in a pre-season game. Prior to the start of the season he had spent some time down under in Australia in the Darren Lehmann Academy. George passed out from the Millfield school in 2015 and then made into the second XI team of Gloucestershire. His stellar show post the 2016 season saw him inking a three-year deal with the Bristol-based county.
