Mayank Rawat is an emerging batting talent from Delhi, known for his aggressive approach and ability to score quickly in the middle order. At 26, the Delhi all-rounder earned his first IPL contract with Mumbai Indians for 30 lakh. His journey hasn’t been easy, despite scoring 220 and 244 at the U-14 level, he missed selection and spent the next 4-5 years struggling for opportunities and consistency. Guided by coach Rajesh Nagar, he kept working through the setbacks.
His revival came in the Delhi Premier League, where strong performances finally brought him back into contention and onto Mumbai Indians’ radar.
