Michael Erlank

Born on July 4, 1990 in Kimberley, Cape Province, Michael Nicholas Erlank is a specialist batsman who can also roll over his arm with his gentle off-breaks. In the final of the Sunfoil 3-day Cup in Durban, Erlank played a solid knock of 139 that helped KwaZulu-Natal thump Namibia by an innings and 25 runs. Erland played more than 50 overs himself and made the bowlers toil in the outfield after this marathon knock of his.

He started his career batting in the middle order, before he was moved up the order by his skipper. With nearly 5000 runs at the first-class level, Michael Erlankd can be a game-changer on his day. If the all-rounder puts some hard work to improve his bowling, he can end his first-class career with more than 150 wickets to his name. The Knights are lucky to have a match-winner like Michael Erland in their side.
