A wicket-keeper batsman Tim Ludeman started off his career at Victoria but after his debut year moved to South Australia in 2009. He was also picked up by the Adelaide Strikers for the BBL extravaganza.

A sure starter in the playing 11 for Adelaide, he tallied 846 runs for them in five season before facing the axe mid-season in BBL 06. This after he garnered 256 runs in 9 innings and ended up as the second highest run-getter for the Strikers in the season before.

But some good performances in the practice games before BBL 07 had Melbourne Renegades picking him up. Being a powerful striker at the top of the order, he might as well team up with Aaron Finch.

His first-class career also has been a strong one and is regarded as one of the finest glovesman that Australia has. His first-class and List A records are not that flattering but his glovework has ensured he has been a permanent starter for South Australia.
