Sarah Aley

A fast bowler by trade and a handy lower order batswoman, Sarah Aley started off playing domestic cricket for New South Wales way back in 2005. She holds the distinction of earning the winner's medal at the Women's National Cricket League (WNCL) nine times. Add to that being adjudged the Player of the Match in the finals of the WBBL season 2 when she played a key role towards the death overs with the ball to take the Sydney Sixers to the winning podium. She was also her side's highest wicket taker through the season.

A place in the national squad wasn't far and it came during the Women's World Cup of 2017. One of the oldest cricketers to be making her international debut at the ripe age of 33, Aley impressed with the control and pace she exhibited on debut against Pakistan.
