Seren Waters

Son of Kenyan ex-cricketer David Waters, Seren Waters is a talented youngster, one of the brightest prospects in the game currently. He also plays for Surrey. He grabbed attention when he scored close to 900 runs in his last season at Cranleigh School and was also the second highest wicket-taker.

In 2008, he scored a double century on debut for Surrey Under-17s. Two years later in 2008 he made his Surrey second XI debut. Upon receiving his call-up to the Kenyan Cricket team in October 2008, he scored an impressive 75 against Ireland in the Intercontinental Cup. A month later in the full ODI against South Africa, he slammed a brilliant 74. Not only did he perform well with the bat but also displayed good fielding standards.

Aside from playing for Surrey and Kenya, Waters also plays for the Old Cranleighan Cricket Club and for Weybridge Cricket Club. In the North of United Kingdom indoor cricket British University and College Sport (BUCS) finals, he played for Durham University.

Waters was a part of the 2011 World Cup squad. However, he has not played much cricket since then.
